- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent work experience.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in threat modelling and security code review.
- Knowledge of system security vulnerabilities and remediation techniques, including penetration testing and the development of exploits or equivalent
- Deep knowledge and understanding of security engineering, system and network security, authentication and security protocols, cryptography, or application security
- Experience writing in at least one programming language, C++

- Strong ability to review code for security defects
- Strong ability to find security defects through testing
- Strong verbal and written communications skills
- Experience securing payments systems
- Experience enabling developers to deliver faster results through paved paths, secure defaults, and secure configuration
- Experience with AWS products and services
- Experience in mobile application security
