Create product performance standards, test plans, test cases, and develop test environments to ensure product software meets industry and internal specifications.
Collaborate with QA Manager, Product Owner, Stakeholders, and the Scrum Team to understand test requirements for the Battery energy storage system and define implement the best suitable test automation.
Design, develop a reusable architecture for the test automation and execute test cases and scripts through analysis of product specifications and software requirements.
Build test automation frameworks that is easy to develop scripts, robust, supports variety of reporting, easy to troubleshoot failures.
Participate in Scrum meetings with other team members including sprint planning and estimating; backlog refinement; daily Scrum meetings; sprint retrospectives and sprint reviews.
Drive improvement on functionality, usability, testability, performance and production stability of the applications and systems
Communicate effectively across multiple teams, stake holders and customers.
Continually develop and improve system test processes, adding value through optimization, & automation.
Conduct functional, integration, and regression testing of Battery energy storage system with Remote telemetry unit (RTU), Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) and Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) systems.
Conduct functional, integration, and regression testing of Battery energy storage sub systems like Battery management system (BMS) , Power conversion system (PCS), HVAC, Fire & Panel etc.
Candidate will be responsible for the overall System level Test Coverage and reduction in Post Release defects to the Customer/End User.
Candidate will be responsible for On-time delivery of project/group objectives and influences project level productivity.
Prepare detailed test reports outlining test results, defects identified, and overall system performance.
Communicate effectively with stakeholders to provide insights into the testing process and outcomes.
Complies with Honeywell policies, procedures, and HS&E requirements as applicable.
B. Tech – Instrumentation and Control / Electrical / Electronic or Equivalent.
5-8 years of experience.
You Must Have:
Technical/Engineering education background in Electrical , Instrumentation or Electronics & communication (BE or ME degree is preferred).
Candidate should have at least 5 - 8 years of relevant industry experience in testing for Battery storage sub-systems like Battery management system, Power conversion system, HVAC , Fire panel etc.
Candidate should have a strong understanding of Process control and automation, its applications in various Projects.
Strong knowledge of Control systems, industrial automation, RTU , PLC, SCADA systems.
Candidate should have hands on experience on PLC programming using ladder programming, FBD, Structured Text, SFC and other languages described in IEC61131-3 standard.
Strong in Industrial communication protocols like Modbus Serial, Modbus TCP, DNP3, MQTT, OPC UA.
Knowledge of Alarms, Trend, History, Reports, and basic networking will be added advantage.
Should have very good Logical reasoning and Analytical skills.
Excellent analytical skills, open, proactive, results oriented, self-organized and self-motivated.
Positive approach to problem solving with a can do attitude.

Candidate should also have experience working in Process Industrial Control preferably Honeywell Experion DCS, Honeywell TDC and SCADA solutions.
Knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and/or Test Life Cycle.
candidate having good working experience in test automation tools like Python, Selenium etc
Exposure to Test and Requirement Management Tools such as JIRA, Quality Center, Jama would be an advantage.
Experience with testing tools and frameworks, as well as test automation.
