Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical discipline AND 12+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or PythonOR equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of experience in leading large develop teams to achieve complex goals on time and within budget to drive innovation with customer obsession.
• 6+ years of experience in networking, distributed systems and network virtualization, and passion for high quality standards.
  

Other Qualifications:

• Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings:
• Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud Background Check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 10+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or PythonOR Master's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 8+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or PythonOR equivalent experience.
• 4+ years People management experience.
• Exposure to datapath technologies / layers such as DPDK, Classical NICs, SmartNICs, virtual Switch, networking protocols.
• Technical skills in Driving Design and Architecture with cross product and services dependencies.

• Own the efforts to resolve some of the technically deepest problems in the SDN (Software Defined Networking) and host networking areas.
• Follow the latest developments in technology, work with consortiums/forums in the industry actively, and help our cloud infrastructure evolve towards the next big growth and innovate.
• Collaborate with different partner teams and counterparts in different geographies to meet the goals of the organization.
• Attract and retain talent while supporting career development and growth of team members.
• Own the quality and performance of the product and drive the efforts to achieve high standards and to retain it consistently.
• Leverage subject-matter expertise of product features and partner with appropriate stakeholders to drive a workgroup's project plans, release plans, and work items.
• Proactively seek new knowledge and adapt to new trends, technical solutions, and patterns that will improve the availability, reliability, efficiency, observability, and performance of products while also driving consistency in monitoring and operations at scale.
• Participate in architecture and design of various components with developers and ensure a timely execution of the features with high quality.
