Define and manage fastener development and joint design programs, ensuring all activities have cross-functional alignment and visibility, and working closely with design engineering to drive these programs to a targeted, on-time completion
Define and manage design validation programs, ensuring that these programs consistently hit milestones, and that output is accurately cataloged and reported
Charter, plan, and drive to completion technology roadmap projects that will define the design and execution strategies of future engineering programs
Structure timelines and drive to completion activities pertaining to concern resolution around the launch of new programs, including root-cause analysis, countermeasure development, and countermeasure validation
Analyze design and validation requirements for future programs to enable the efficient allocation of resources
What You’ll Bring
Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Materials Engineering, Engineering Management, or equivalent experience
Bias for action, strong organizational and presentation skills, and resource management ability are critical
Experience or interest in the automotive or manufacturing space preferred
Experiences with program management, supplier engagement, and cross-functional engineering collaboration preferred
Experience with materials and fasteners testing techniques preferred
