- Define and manage fastener development and joint design programs, ensuring all activities have cross-functional alignment and visibility, and working closely with design engineering to drive these programs to a targeted, on-time completion
- Define and manage design validation programs, ensuring that these programs consistently hit milestones, and that output is accurately cataloged and reported
- Charter, plan, and drive to completion technology roadmap projects that will define the design and execution strategies of future engineering programs
- Structure timelines and drive to completion activities pertaining to concern resolution around the launch of new programs, including root-cause analysis, countermeasure development, and countermeasure validation
- Analyze design and validation requirements for future programs to enable the efficient allocation of resources
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Materials Engineering, Engineering Management, or equivalent experience
- Bias for action, strong organizational and presentation skills, and resource management ability are critical
- Experience or interest in the automotive or manufacturing space preferred
- Experiences with program management, supplier engagement, and cross-functional engineering collaboration preferred
- Experience with materials and fasteners testing techniques preferred
