We offer on-demand delivery of groceries and everyday necessities from supermarkets, convenience stores, and drugstores within 30 minutes. This is a rapidly growing quick commerce market, and Uber Eats is playing a significant role in shaping its development in Japan.

Your Impact in Role:

In this role, you will be pivotal to the success of our Grocery & Retail business, reporting directly to the Head of Commercial.

By leveraging your analytical mindset, business acumen, and industry knowledge, you will proactively generate actionable insights, evaluate initiative performance, and provide structured, data-driven recommendations to the Commercial team.

The Experience You’ll Bring:

• Excellent communication skills in Japanese and English.
• 7+ years of relevant experience and proven track record in business analytics, operations, strategy, consulting, or partner management. Prior experience in retail or consumer packaged goods (CPG) is highly desirable.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to independently analyse data and translate insights into actionable business recommendations using various formats (data models, presentations, and written reports).
• Excellent ability to prioritise, scope, and execute projects both independently and collaboratively.
• Exceptional presentation and stakeholder management skills in both Japanese and business English, with the ability to engage effectively at all levels.
• Proactive mindset with a focus on driving results.
• Advanced experience in data extraction, SQL, and financial modelling is required.
