Responsibilities but not limited:

• Develops architecture and performance simulator model of the DSP cores

• Oversees architecture, design, verification, and performance analysis for Digital Signal Processor (DSP) development

• Determines processor architecture, micro-architecture, logic design, verification, and all performance and power aspects

• Applies high-performance microprocessor design concepts including multi-core, multi-threaded, out-of-order, cache memory, high-speed ALU, and advanced low power design.

• Evaluates all aspects of the design process from instruction set architecture to implementation

• Identifies and models new custom instructions set which is needed to achieve top-notch results in machine learning and modem

• Applies tools and techniques to evaluate design tradeoffs and verify design correctness

• Uses system tools such as architectural simulators, digital design simulators and emulators, test generators, and design synthesis

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master's or PhD degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field.

• 3+ years of experience with programming (e.g., C, C++, Python), computer architecture, or embedded systems.

• 3+ years of experience in design verification methods.

• 2+ years of experience working in a large matrixed organization.

• 1+ year in a technical leadership role with or without direct reports(only applies to positions with direct reports).

Programming Languages:

• C, C++, Python, Perl

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field and 4+ years of Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, or related work experience.

Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field and 3+ years of Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, or related work experience.

PhD in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field and 2+ years of Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, or related work experience.

• 2+ years of experience with high-performance microprocessor design.

Pay range:

$148,000.00 - $222,000.00
