Responsibilities but not limited:
Develops architecture and performance simulator model of the DSP cores
Oversees architecture, design, verification, and performance analysis for Digital Signal Processor (DSP) development
Determines processor architecture, micro-architecture, logic design, verification, and all performance and power aspects
Applies high-performance microprocessor design concepts including multi-core, multi-threaded, out-of-order, cache memory, high-speed ALU, and advanced low power design.
Evaluates all aspects of the design process from instruction set architecture to implementation
Identifies and models new custom instructions set which is needed to achieve top-notch results in machine learning and modem
Applies tools and techniques to evaluate design tradeoffs and verify design correctness
Uses system tools such as architectural simulators, digital design simulators and emulators, test generators, and design synthesis
Preferred Qualifications:
Master's or PhD degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field.
3+ years of experience with programming (e.g., C, C++, Python), computer architecture, or embedded systems.
3+ years of experience in design verification methods.
2+ years of experience working in a large matrixed organization.
1+ year in a technical leadership role with or without direct reports(only applies to positions with direct reports).
Programming Languages:
Minimum Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field and 4+ years of Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, or related work experience.
Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field and 3+ years of Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, or related work experience.
PhD in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field and 2+ years of Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, or related work experience.
• 2+ years of experience with high-performance microprocessor design.

Pay range:
$148,000.00 - $222,000.00
