Job description:

In this highly visible role, you will lead a team to model and improve the end to end performance of KPIs on Qualcomm’s leading edge AI Processor. This role requires strong skills in computer architecture/micro-architecture, system architecture, memory architecture, systems software, and heterogeneous multiprocessing. Machine learning knowledge is a benefit. C and C++ skills are required.

Responsibilities but not limited:

  • Predicting end to end application performance and power, including the impacts of various system mitigation methods for thermal and current limitations

  • Identifying opportunities for performance improvements. Prototype proposed changes. Then drive the proposed improvements into the development community.

  • Developing performance test plans and strategies to ensure all aspects of system performance are understood.

  • Developing and maintain testing tools to assess application performance

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field and 6+ years of Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, or related work experience.

Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field and 5+ years of Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, or related work experience.

PhD in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field and 4+ years of Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, or related work experience.

• 2+ years of experience with high-performance microprocessor design.

Pay range:

$174,000.00 - $261,000.00
