Description for Internal Candidates

As a Transactions Supervisor in Receivables Operations, you will manage a team responsible for processing daily document transactions and extracting checks and remittances. Our division empowers customers to handle paper-based payments efficiently, capturing data with advanced technology and updating accounts receivable swiftly. Your role is crucial in expediting payment collections and ensuring timely account updates.

Job responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily workflow of specific workgroups and/or segments of the workflow process
  • Manage a team of full and part-time front-line employees
  • Handle complex customer relationships using service improvement tools and methodologies
  • Own remittance processing performance, allocating work to maximize productivity and quality
  • Manage shift operations, inform shift manager of delays, breakdowns, and resolve production/quality issues
  • Provide guidance and development for Team Leaders and Operations team members

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:

  • Minimum 2 years of supervisory/leadership experience
  • Ability to lead, direct, and be visible to staff and direct reports
  • Ability to coordinate and organize work while meeting multiple deadlines
  • Demonstrated ability to multi-task and balance numerous activities simultaneously
  • Functional experience with MS Office, including Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint
  • Good decision-making skills and exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Core leadership abilities, strong planning/organization, motivation, problem-solving/conflict resolution, analytical, team building, and interpersonal skills are essential

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills:

  • Experience in a remittance processing environment

Schedule:

  • Sunday - Thursday
  • 8:00 pm - 4:30 am

Shift differential:

This position may require you to work non-traditional hours and/or additional hours as business needs arise. The work schedule might be subject to change.

A Government Security Clearance may be required for this position. This includes, but is not limited to:
