Degree in engineering (Mechanical, Materials, or Industrial preferred), or graduate degree in supply chain and/or operations.
Minimum 7 years hands-on experience with design and/or manufacturing process development
Familiarity with factory operations, 5S, operator training, safety, and security.
Demonstrated expertise in at least one of the following areas:
Metal forming
Molding
Precision pick and place
Glue dispensing
Laser welding
Coil Winding
Heat pressing
Soldering
Additive Manufacturing
Machine Learning
Fixture fabrication
Experience with compiling data and making recommendations for product designs and assembly drawings. This will include the use of Design of Experiments (DOE) and statistical analysis using Six Sigma principles.
Experience using process control methodologies, PFMEA, and in-depth failure analysis methods
Experience simulating line throughput and bottleneck resolution for high volume mass production
Demonstrated program management capabilities: schedule management, written and verbal communication, risk management, and escalation.
Proven track record of leading a multi-functional team in order to achieve new product objectives inclusive of quality, yield, and cost
Proven track record of solving complex problems in a timely fashion
Experience working with international OEM partners
Self-starter with innovation, integrity, and attention to details
Work/Travel Expectation:
20-30% travel
Daily night calls may be necessary to ensure program development milestones and schedule are met
