Description
We are seeking a self-motivated engineer to support the development of III-V devices by leading our failure analysis and reliability efforts. You will work with cross functional teams to solve epitaxial growth and fabrication issues impacting device performance or reliability. You will plan and either perform or coordinate with external vendors reliability tests of our devices. You will analyze reliability data and identify failure modes. You will explore various techniques to understand unique failure mechanisms.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Material Science, Electrical Engineering, Physics or an equivalent field.
  • Knowledge of material characterization techniques (SEM, TEM, SIMS and AFM).
  • Experience with device fabrication and metrology.
Preferred Qualifications
  • 3+ years of experience in a related field or industry.
  • Experience with device reliability techniques.
  • Experience with optoelectronic device testing.
  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
  • Accountable with a self-initiative and proactive attitude.
  • Excellent data analysis and problem-solving skills.
  • Attentive to details.
Pay & Benefits
  • At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $143,100 and $214,500, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.Note: Apple benefit, compensation and employee stock programs are subject to eligibility requirements and other terms of the applicable plan or program.
