In this Role, you will

  • Act as primary liaison to the Business Resiliency Manager/Business Resiliency Coordinator in the implementation, education and coordination of BCP requirements
  • Support front line business continuity resources in executing and implementing EBR methodology as outlined in the EBR Guidebook
  • Promote and ensure the dissemination of training and awareness resources provided by EBR
  • Training and empowering the Resiliency Coordinators and Managers in their roles and responsibilities
  • Ensure issues resulting from business group/enterprise function exercises and enterprise led/integrated exercises are logged into the issue management system of record per the Issue Management Policy if the gaps meet the definition of an issue.
  • Exercise & Maintenance (E&M) of BCP Plans – Ensure all planning components are in line with the BR DR Risk Management Policy and EBR requirements. Schedule applicable E&Ms (Example - BIA, Risk Assessment, Simulation etc.). Verify the accuracy, completeness and adherence to EBR requirements through Resiliency Officer reviews.
  • Ensure facilitation of all global resiliency activities occur within business group/enterprise function
  • Understand local, regional, national and international resiliency laws and regulations for their geographic region
  • Ensure required Wells Fargo BCP Certifications are obtained for your organization
  • Ensure business continuity activities taken by the businesses, including emerging risks, are appropriately measured, managed, mitigated, and controlled
  • Escalate plan deficiencies and risk items as needed to Resiliency Lead, the Business Resiliency Managers of the lines of business supported

Managing Incidents

  • Understand and communicate business incident information at time of incident to Resiliency Leads and Incident Management teams
  • Be an active participant in the Enterprise Incident Coordination Center (EICC) process at time of incident (per L1 Playbook)
  • Actively participate and support during incidents working with Incident Management team, Business Group / Enterprise Function / Resiliency Lead organization
  • Understand and adhere to the Enterprise Communications process for incidents

Reporting

  • Periodic reporting of BCP Plan E&Ms status
  • The creation and maintenance of our COO/CAO Concentration Risk SharePoint site
  • Overseeing and guiding our Legal Entity teams in plan creation and updates

Capability Build within I &P for Greater Resiliency outcomes:

  • Subject Matter Expert (SME) to I &P for Resiliency related aspects
  • Partner with I&P Leadership, Enterprise BCP, Functional managers, I&P Incident Management team to prepare them for Walkthroughs and Exercises & and active participation.
  • Perform Review /reconciliation of VDI/Back up VDI /Wave at Employee Level along with Plan #, Function Name, Function Criticality # and other components to address risk associated with Single VDI
  • Resiliency Reviews at I&P level for greater insights and understanding of Key Resiliency metrics, Key activities of E&M, DR tests, Incident Management
  • Create greater awareness around incident response, organize training sessions for greater awareness of resiliency aspects across managers /teams
  • Support any ongoing reviews with control / IRM /Audit or any regulatory reviews involving resiliency
  • Proactively create mechanisms and provide incident response support not only for our COO Resiliency team, but also for overall I &P for better management of crisis situations
  • Actively engage with ROs / BRMs/BRCs across Business groups /Enterprise Functions at I &P for best practice sharing and helping build community of Resiliency resources for support / best practice sharing and further enhancing resiliency resource capability

Required Qualifications:

  • Graduate with 10 + years' experience in Business Continuity, resiliency and incident management having worked in listed / large size organizations with multi locational presence.

Desired Qualifications:

  • The following will provide candidate greater strengths to perform on the role:
    • Experience in Program Management / Project Management / Operational Risk /Control
    • Good expertise on Data management, Excel / MIS / Reporting Tools / Power Point.
    • Ability to present data / approaches / strategy / management updates in the form of effective presentations ( eg PPT)
    • Exposure to Industry tools like service now / Tableau / Fusion / Everbridge etc
    • Industry certification on Business Continuity from bodies like BCI /DRI
    • For Internal Candidates -Working knowledge of and experience with resiliency tools and reporting. Experience working with Operational Resiliency System (ORS) and BCP Central is a plus.

Soft Skills / Leadership Competencies

  • Tenacity to drive the program forward and obtain favorable results, amidst constant change
  • Experience developing and enhancing documentation and communications reports using a wide array of information sources and publishing to different audiences, including senior management, corporate risk groups and regulators
  • Adaptable to rapid large-scale changes in business processes and organizational structure
  • Comfortable working in a complex matrix environment with simultaneous responsibility to business line management and department, group and corporate level risk teams
  • Experience presenting to FRB, OCC, and FDIC
  • Must have advanced verbal, Written and strong communication skills with the ability to articulate complex concepts in a clear manner
  • This role will require you to work ~5 weekends a year and more than 40 hours a week at times
  • Candidate must be based out of posted location (Hyderabad) or Bangalore
  • Timings will require at least half day overlap with USA, a regular workday will be from 1.30pm IST – 10.30PM IST, subject to later hours at times. Candidate must be based out of Wells Fargo India location and will be required to work in the office as per organization’s In Office Adherence / Return To Office (RTO) which is currently at a minimum of 3 days per week.
