Your responsibilities will include
- Develops action plans (i.e., weekly, quarterly, monthly) by analyzing quarterly and monthly sales figures and reports identifying the needs of accounts and discussing issues with Regional Sales Manager to help the organization achieve its annual sales goals.
- Identifies and assesses market opportunities by conducting thorough market research, analyzing competitive landscapes, customer needs, pricing structures, and emerging trends to create effective sales strategies that promote the company’s products to healthcare professionals and support business expansion.
- Assist in the successful launch of new products and accounts by developing go-to-market strategies, coordinating with the marketing team, and training customers on the product’s benefits and applications.
- Stay updated on new developments, innovations, and regulatory changes in the healthcare and medical device industry, adapting strategies to ensure the company remains competitive and aligned with market needs.
- Use of Salesforce CRM systems and other digital platforms to track customer interactions, manage accounts, and create more personalized approaches for customer engagement and retention.
- Responds to customer concerns by identifying issues related to products or services, developing creative solutions, and coordinating with clinical, marketing, or pricing teams to resolve issues and ensure customer satisfaction
- Expands network within hospital systems by engaging with personnel across departments, attending conferences, and building relationships with decision-makers to support future sales opportunities.
- Educates customers on the merits and proper clinical usage of company products by giving presentations and demonstrations using a wide variety of formats and platforms (e.g., slides, transparencies, manuals) to secure purchasing commitments, often with the help of incentive programs and services made available to the account being developed.
Required qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree required plus 1 -3 years relevant sales experience preferably in medical device industry, within OR environment, or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
- Solid business and financial understanding required.
- Ability to work independently while maintaining focus on both short- and long-term goals
- Demonstrate ability to absorb technical knowledge quickly and disseminate appropriately to all levels of healthcare professionals.
- Excellent selling skills required.
- Demonstrated oral and written communication skills.
- Self-starter, team player, proven leadership qualities and execution.
- Possess the ability to determine and set the direction within territory.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, for data analysis and reporting
- Proficiency in managing and organizing daily schedules, appointments, and follow-ups.
- Able to build and maintain strong customer relationships.
- A strategic mindset for identifying new market opportunities.
- Must be energetic, enthusiastic, determined and goal-oriented.
- Excels in a fast-paced, competitive environment.
- Some evening trade show, weekend and/or off-hour physician meeting participation may be required.
- Fully Bilingual (English/Spanish).
