Using your experience, you'll lead the development of Process & Instrumentation Drawings (P&IDs), control narratives, specifications, network drawings, panel drawings, and select instrumentation. You’ll coordinate with other engineering disciplines for a cohesive design. You’ll also contribute to the development and growth of people (e.g. mentoring junior engineers) both domestically and globally. You’ll be able to develop control system software in Programmable Logic Controllers and Human Machine Interfaces and perform facility startups and commissioning activities. As well, you will be able to review constructions submittals, conduct site evaluations, make recommendations for control system upgrades, and communicate with clients and management. This position is posted in Redding, California and Sacramento, California.

Here's what you'll need
  • Bachelor’s Degree in an Engineering discipline
  • Active Professional Engineer (P.E.) license
  • 10+ years of experience in PLC, DCS, or HMI programming, development of control system architecture, and SCADA systems
  • I&C Systems Integration design experience
  • Ability to mentor, train, and delegate work to others domestically and abroad
  • Successful experience with working and managing remote domestic and international staff, and ability to work outside normal work hours at times to coordinate with global team members
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite

Ideally, you’ll also have:

  • Development of Process & Instrumentation Drawings (P&ID’s) experience
  • Water infrastructure Instrumentation & Controls Systems design experience
