- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Civil, or Chemical Engineering.
- Active California Professional Engineer (P.E.) license or ability to obtain one in California within 6 months.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in control system design for water, wastewater, manufacturing, and/or other similar utilities.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Outgoing self-starter with good networking skills.
- Experience with P&IDs, specifications, control schematics, control strategies, online instruments, basic Ethernet networking, and control signal lists (I/O lists).
- Experience and/or willingness to learn PLC Programming, HMI programming, SQL, Scripting Languages, development of control system architecture, and SCADA systems.
- Ability to work in multidiscipline groups for larger projects.
- Collaborate with our global team across different time zones and occasionally work non-traditional hours to effectively connect with international colleagues to support our local clients.
- Some local travel is required to meet with clients, attend meetings, and other support activities.
