In this role, you will serve as a trusted advisor to the CMCD Senior Director ofBusiness Operations and Strategydriving a range of multidisciplinary operating rhythms and instilling strong operational rigor. You will play a pivotal role in executing on CMCD priorities, and lead the implementation of our strategic planning efforts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Orchestrate CMCD operating routinesthat facilitate decision-making,leadership alignment, and team engagement, including business reviews, steering committees, All Hands, etc.
- Develop and coordinate executive-level presentations
- Manage functional budget and provide oversight on spend management – covering the scale of thousands of team members and hundreds of millions in annual operating spend.
Strategic Planning:
- Support development of the long-term strategic plan in alignment with organizational goals.
- Collaborate with business operations partners throughout CMCD to design and implement complex initiatives.
- Develop and implement strong change management strategies and plans to support organizational initiatives and projects.
Operational Excellence:
- Oversee the optimization of business processes and workflows to enhance efficiency and productivity across CDMC.
- Implement performance metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure operational performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to streamline operations, reduce costs, and maximize resource utilization.
Cross-functional Leadership:
- Coordinate with cross-functional partners (e.g., Finance, Product, Marketing, Design, Communications, HR, etc.) to execute business priorities
- Lead and deliver multidisciplinary initiatives: gathering insights, analyzing relevant data, and developing actionable recommendations
- Conduct comprehensive functional analysis to identify emerging risks, opportunities, competitive threats, and industry trends.
Qualifications:
- 7+ years of business management, strategic operations, program management, or relevant experience in a large-scale, heavily matrixed, high-growth global function or business.
- Proven track record of successfully building and scaling processes through an organization
- Demonstrated ability to plan and execute strategic initiatives that drive business growth and profitability.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and market trends to inform strategic decision-making.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively across all levels of the organization.
- Data-driven and highly organized with superior project management skills.
- Demonstrated learning agility and passion for taking on new challenges and executing with high velocity.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, especially with storyboarding and deck writing for diverse audiences ranging from board members, senior executives, to broad-based team member groups.
- Global and domestic travel – up to 30%.
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Finance, Economics, or related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
