Description
- Work with on-die/package/board power -delivery for current and future generations - Define the power architecture and design solution space for the target system - Provide implementation guidelines and feedback to silicon, package, and system design group - Perform feasibility study, design verification, and sign off - Perform model to hardware correlation on component and product/system level
Key Qualifications
  • Experience in design and analysis of product power supply solution
  • Experience in PI/SI methodology development, PDN modeling from system to die, and lab correlation/validation
  • Understanding of power supply architecture covering voltage regulator technologies, PCB and package design trends and trade-offs, and chip supply design including low-power design methodologies
  • Solid understanding on PCB technologies including socket integration and its electrical performance in system environment
  • Good knowledge in 3D/2D EM simulation tools, electromagnetic and transmission line theory
  • Familiar with lab equipment including but not limited to VNA, real-time scope, spectrum analyzer
  • Ability to work and communicate efficiently in a multi-functional team
Education & Experience
BS and +3 years of relevant industry experience

  • At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $131,500 and $243,300, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.Note: Apple benefit, compensation and employee stock programs are subject to eligibility requirements and other terms of the applicable plan or program.
