PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES

The IT & cloud Services includes, but not limited to, Cloud Procurement, (e.g., Datacenter Services, Networking, Server/Storage, Infrastructure Services), Client Hardware Technology, Software procurement and Facility Services with a strong focus on managed Services.
EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS
- Execute sourcing projects on a local, regional based in RFP’s Process and Tickets services environment.
- Prepare the sourcing and contracting and negotiations based on facts and figures as result of an analysis, tickets process.
- Analyze and seek opportunities for improvement.
- Collaborate with the wider sourcing team to implement and support sourcing strategies that ensure best value for SAP.
- Pro-actively support market analysis / market screening benchmarking, track market trends and manage supplier performance.
- Understand supplier capability assessments.
- Manage supplier portfolios and undertake supplier negotiations through relationship-building to maximize business benefits.
- Identify opportunities for increased competitive bidding, smarter supplier relationships and more efficient procurement processes.
- Support the development and execution of RFP’s, manage requirements including pricing negotiations.
- Negotiate agreements with suppliers and work with SAP requesters to ensure appropriate contract approvals are obtained and documented.
- Drive all procurement related activities and support other areas of the sourcing team including projects as needed.
- Ensure compliance to the SAP Global Purchasing Policy.
EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES
- University degree preferably in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Understanding of end-to-end procurement and sourcing strategies and how to execute a global strategy.
- Strong customer focus, presentation skills and business acumen are good.
- Developed collaboration skills.
- Open-minded and willing to drive change.
- Initiate simplicity and challenge complexity.
- Knowledge of purchasing systems (e.g., Ariba), MS office applications and purchasing processes.
- Fluent English (spoken, written), other languages are welcome.
- Ability to work in international teams and virtual environment.
WORK EXPERIENCE
- At least 2-3 years’ experience in procurement negotiations preferred indirect procurement environments, ideally in a multinational environment.
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate and to crystalize business requirements and to translate them into actionable procurement activity.
- Ability to apply purchasing knowledge to execute sourcing projects.
- Proven experience leading successful execution and delivery of strategy.
- Global experience preferred.
- Ability to establish clear priorities and effectively manage multiple demand and time resources.
