Job Summary:
Responsible for customer service support including equipment installation, maintenance and repair services on GEHC Diagnostic Imaging systems within the designated region.
The FSE will be the first line of contact for all customers' technical requirements.
They must have good communication skills to interact effectively with both internal & external customers as well as other healthcare professionals such as physicians and biomedical technicians.
The role requires high level knowledge in MRI physics and application, basic electronics, IT and network connectivity, mechanical and electrical troubleshooting techniques.
They need to demonstrate excellent customer care skills and team work by building solid relationships with customers and co-workers alike.
The FSE should be able to perform basic system diagnostics using available tools and instrumentation and utilize GE's remote support capabilities to provide rapid and effective solutions to customers' problems.Qualification:
1. Bachelor’s degree or above in Electronics Engineering or equivalent discipline required.
2. Minimum 5 years field service experience preferred.
3. Experience working on magnetic resonance imaging equipment or similar medical device preferred.
4. Strong technical knowledge of electronic circuits, magnetism, computer technology and networking, radiation safety.
5. Excellent interpersonal skills, decision making ability and written/verbal communications skills.
6. Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining a high level of attention to detail.
7. Ability to operate motor vehicles and small powered equipment, and navigate around construction sites.
8. Fluent English communication skill required.
9. Previous overseas work experience preferred.
10. Ability to travel frequently, sometimes at short notice and stay away from home base for extended periods of time.
