Attending customer sites to install or repair fire detection and response systems
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to fire detection and response systems, both remotely and on-site
Provide technical expertise and support for fire protection solutions
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement solutions for customer needs
Be a mentor for junior engineers training them in system usage including producing documentation and quotations
Key skills and qualifications
Previous experience of commissioning and servicing of fire systems preferably GENT systems
Hold F.I.A units 1 and 2 and 3 BS5839 with working knowledge of Unit 4 design
Ability to identify and satisfy customer needs and commercial opportunities
Good communication skills coupled with customer service skills to effectively communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
