The Decision Support Manager is a key member of the Global Decision Support team within the Center of Excellence (CoE), Global Procurement (GP), acting as a trusted Business Partner and extended team member for the GP Leadership in External Manufacturing & Devices. Key responsibilities include procurement savings reporting, including monthly actuals, quarterly LBE, LRP and AOP cycles. This role also includes managing spend analysis, ownership of savings methodology, validation of savings initiatives, Market Intelligence and Business Ownership of the Savings Management Solution (Wave) to meet stakeholders' requirements with data-driven insights.
• Assist to develop advanced analytics for Spend and Savings identification. Drive Opportunity identification through best-in-class analytics and tools
• Perform data collection, analysis and reporting for GP in the areas of AOP, LRP Savings Tracking and for other special projects
• Work across Procurement, Finance and business leaders to develop, update, enhance and rollout Procurement Savings guidelines and reporting mechanisms that are aligned with corporate systems
• Drive global and regional spend visibility and analysis, supporting data-informed decision-making and value generation
• Develop and maintain dashboards and reporting metrics for senior management, demonstrating Global Procurement’s contributions to Teva
• Identify and lead projects aimed at improving effectiveness in Spend and Savings Analytics
• Collect feedback from the Global Procurement organization to assess satisfaction with CoE processes and identify areas for improvement
• Manage activities related to annual savings targets, contributing content for management presentations (e.g., monthly initiative reviews, quarterly business reviews)
• Lead all planning, analysis, and savings tracking efforts, including comprehensive spend analysis and reporting
• Provide data insights to support negotiations and facilitate costing cycles and PPV calculations
• Lead the Annual Operating Plan (AOP) process with Procurement, ensuring data accuracy and providing ongoing Actual vs. AOP analysis
• Collaborate with the PMO and GPLT Management Teams to drive continuous improvement across the organization
• Act as a liaison with stakeholders to ensure Market Intelligence services support informed decision-making
• Conduct training on savings methodologies and procurement systems for the team and stakeholders
• Develop and implement process development and optimization projects and other projects as assigned from time to time
• Master’s, or bachelor’s degree in Finance, Supply Chain, Materials Management, Procurement, Business, or Engineering preferred
• 3+ years of relevant experience in a Business Partner or a consulting role, ideally within Finance or Procurement, with strong planning, analytics, and reporting skills
• Project management experience within finance or procurement is an asset
• Proven track record in Analytics & Reporting process improvement is a plus
• Advanced proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint) with experience managing large data sets and creating clear, accurate reports
• Familiarity with Power Query and PowerPivot/DAX language is a plus
• Expertise in BI systems and Microsoft applications
• Strong reporting and analytical skills, with a knack for problem solving
• Familiarity with the Annual Operating Plan (AOP), Long Range Plan (LRP), and Last Best Estimate (LBE) processes is preferred
• Knowledge of basic accounting principles, P&L and controlling concepts.
• Proven ability to operate effectively in a global, cross-functional setting, managing multiple projects simultaneously
• Strong interpersonal, teamwork, and cross-cultural communication skills with high energy and a proactive mindset
• Strong presentation skills with the ability to think on your feet and make connections and conclusions on the spot
• Strong organizational and time management abilities, adaptable to ambiguity
• Ability to support multiple stakeholder requests and prioritization
