As a Senior Logistics Associate here at Honeywell, you will be responsible for managing and optimizing the end-to-end logistics operations for our SATCOM (Satellite Communications) business unit. You will oversee the coordination of transportation, warehousing, and distribution activities to ensure the efficient flow of goods and materials. Your expertise in logistics management and your ability to drive process improvements will contribute to the overall success of our supply chain operations. You will report directly to our Logistics Manager and you'll work out of our Kanata, ON location. In this role, you will impact the efficiency and effectiveness of our supply chain by leveraging inventory control skills within Aerospace and your logistics expertise in a manufacturing environment. Your attention to detail and ability to analyze data will enable you to identify areas for improvement and implement solutions to enhance our logistics operations.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Oversee warehouse operations, including inventory management, shipping and order fulfillment.
  • Monitor and analyze logistics performance metrics to identify areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize supply chain processes and drive cost savings.
  • Inventory control:
    • Stock and catalog products
    • Report discrepancies, such as short inventory counts
    • Order inventory from suppliers and vendors
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
  • Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance logistics efficiency and customer satisfaction.


YOU MUST HAVE

  • 1+ years of experience in inventory control, logistics management or a related field.
  • High School Diploma

• Knowledge of transportation and warehousing operations.
• Proficiency in using logistics management software and tools.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication abilities.
• Experience in the aerospace industry.
• Knowledge of international logistics and customs regulations.
• Lean Six Sigma certification.
• Continuous improvement mindset.
