What you need to know about the role-As a Machine Learning scientist in GADS you will interact with a large group of other ML scientists to build scalable and innovative data solutions for various domains, supporting multiple business units.

Your day to day

In your day to day role you will:

• Conduct independent research, utilizing business and technological knowledge, while supporting existing projects.
• Build new ML products based on various data sources, allowing other business partners and data analysis teams to incorporate your insights in multiple business domains.
• Optimize existing products to enhance customer overall experience throughout the user’s journey with PayPal.
• Collaborate with our big data engineers, design tailor-made solutions, and support all stages of development and deployment.

What do you need to bring-

• Bachelor's Degree in a quantitative field (Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, etc.)
• 1-2 Years of relevant years of experience
• Good code writing capability in Python and strong familiarity with relevant ML packages.
• Strong analytical skills and familiarity with query languages.
• Excellent spoken and written English
• Team worker, responsible, delivery-oriented, customer champion
