About the Role
Key job responsibilities
- Design and develop automation infrastructure- Develop test station for new products
- Optimize existing automation infra and stations
- Develop and run test scripts using automation infra
- Generate analysis reports for automation result
- Investigate automation test results together with QA and developer on failure analysis- Improve engineering processes and tools to accelerate software development velocity and code quality
- Look at metrics driving fleet health and drive automation for generating fleet health reports and support alerting

eero is a small and lean team, giving you the chance to make an outsized impact and take on a variety of meaningful responsibilities. In a single day, you’ll design, develop, and optimize test automation infrastructure and coverage that supports our engineering goals. You’ll implement new test cases to extend coverage and continuously scale up and improve the automation framework to handle the demands of our expanding fleet. Working closely with QA, you’ll set up new test stations for upcoming products, while also developing alerting mechanisms to catch issues as early as possible, ensuring a proactive approach to reliability.With the flexibility to shape your day-to-day work, you’ll take on the challenge of identifying issues and updating the automation framework to increase stability. BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
- 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
- Experience programming with at least one software programming language


PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- 3+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
