As a Chemical Plating Engineer in plating and Industrial Automation here at Honeywell, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality, efficiency, and productivity of our manufacturing operations. You will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to optimize production processes, drive continuous improvement initiatives, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve operational excellence in the field of industrial automation. Develop, prepare, and maintain plating manufacturing process routings and process sheets. Under general direction creates the design and implementation of plating racks, chemicals, fixtures, and tools to support processes. Develop and implement manufacturing engineering procedures. With your expertise and leadership, you will contribute to the growth and success of our organization.You will report directly to our Operations Manager, and you will work out of our location in Freeport, IL onsite.

• Develop and implement strategies to optimize production processes and drive continuous improvement in industrial automation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement advanced automation technologies.
• Analyze production data and metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
• Provide technical expertise and guidance to manufacturing teams in the field of industrial automation.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.
• Manage and allocate resources effectively to meet production targets.
