Firmware engineerwith a background in security who hasC programing skills, with experience writing low level drivers, root causing issues at the intersection of multiple subsystems across firmware and hardware.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, or related technical discipline AND 4+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, RUST programming
  • OR equivalent experience.
• KnowledgeinEncryption ciphers and security protocols.
• Experience debugging and resolving embedded software/firmware issues spanning multiple subsystems.
• Experience withPlatform initialization, Board support package porting, low level drivers for peripherals such as Peripheral Component Interconnect Express(PCIe) , Inter-Integrated Circuit(I2C), embedded MultiMediaCard(eMMC), Serial Peripheral Interface(SPI), Universal Serial Bus(USB) , Universal asynchronous receiver-transmitter(UARTs) as well as Memory Management, Scheduling,Interruptsand multi-

Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role.  Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.

Preferred Qualifications:

• allthe following: driver development, Linux driver initialization, peripherals such as PCIe, memory interfaces. Operating system(OS) primitives, memory management, scheduling,interrupts, threading.
