Field Service Engineer – Industrial Automation

You will be accountable for your geographic area from whereyou live and facility to work from home is required. Out of country travel maybe required to meet ad hoc needs, and frequent travel out of office (or Home)is part of the job remit to attend customer sites.

Key requirements

• Be part of the LSS (Life Cycle Service & Support) business and drive the Services business growth and profitability with customer satisfaction and safety record
• System upgrades and modifications (Installation/configuration/implementation & commissioning) of Honeywell’s product range including Industrial control & safety systems, 3rd party DCS Systems or SCADA products to meet customer specifications
• Maintain the customer equipment to the required standard regularly performs preventive maintenance and promptly intervene on maintenance needs
• System diagnosis: Diagnosis and escalation for rectification of issues in application software
• Knows customer’s site and contacts and uses Honeywell support network to provide excellent service and quality to customer and focuses on customer growth and development.

Key skills and qualifications

• Proven experience within service engineering preferably within DCS systems or SCADA products
• Experience with Experion PKS Hardware & Software, in addition to Hiway, TDC, & TPS systemincluding LCN, UCN, and Hiway equipment along with Networking
• Degree qualification or equivalent Apprenticeship Qualification in an area of Technology - Electronics, Automation, Control/Instrumentation, Cyber, Computer Science
• Minimum one Level 2 CEAT certification
• Full UK driving license
