You will:

• You will be responsible for architecture, design and development of automation, validation and CI/CD strategies for BIOS and FW on Dell’s client products
• Lead the design of the next generation test automation architecture ensuring scalability and portability
• Lead the development of automation as an active member of an agile team, collaboratively realizing features through development, test and delivery
• Mentor team members in design collaboration, code reviews, development tools and processes

Essential Requirements

• 12+ years ofrelevant experience in the architecture,design and development of automation, validation, and CI/CD for BIOS and firmwarewith a master’s or bachelor’s degree in computer engineering, electrical engineering, or related discipline.
• Knowledge or relevant deployment experience of the PC ecosystem with a focus in BIOS and embedded FW features for client products
• Experience with multiple programming languages such as C and Python, common software/hardware debugging tools, test automation and CI/CD framework.Ability to code/debug and guide others to code/debug flexible, scalable and complex programs, using either written or verbal design specifications
• Hands-on experience in the design and development of automation/CI/CD solutions for pre-boot BIOS and embedded controller firmware
• Ability to learn new tools, languages and operating systems with some training and on-the-job experience
