Your key responsibilities
The Staff Archer Business Consultant will be responsible for bridging the gap between business needs and technical solutions, working closely with project team to interact with stakeholders to gather requirements, support the configuration the Archer platform, and optimize workflows for risk management, compliance, and security operations related to the Archer platform, product capabilities.
Requirements Gathering & Analysis:
- Collaborate with business users to identify, analyze, and document GRC requirements.
- Translate business needs into functional and technical specifications for Archer GRC.
- Conduct gap analysis and recommend best practices for GRC processes.
Archer GRC Implementation & Configuration:
- Support the design, development, and configuration of Archer solutions.
- Work with developers and system administrators to implement data feeds, integrations, and reporting functionalities.
- Support configuration of workflows, dashboards, notifications, and access controls in Archer.
Stakeholder Collaboration & Support:
- Act as a liaison between business users, IT teams, and third-party vendors.
- Provide user training and documentation to enhance platform adoption.
Testing & Quality Assurance:
- Develop and execute test plans for Archer configurations, including unit, system, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
- Validate data integrity and ensure compliance with governance standards.
Continuous Improvement & Compliance Support:
- Stay updated with industry best practices and Archer platform updates.
- Identify opportunities for process automation and system enhancements.
- Ensure that implemented solutions align with regulatory and compliance requirements.
To qualify for the role, you must have
- 2+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in IT, Risk, or Compliance domains.
- Prior experience with Archer GRC platform implementation is preferred.
- Ability to understand and interpret business needs and identify appropriate business and technical solutions to meet those needs.
- Proficiency with Agile project management and delivery methodologies.
- Demonstrated hands-on experience in technical consulting and client-facing roles required
- A bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university is preferred.
- Industry Certifications, including SAFe Product Owner, SAFe Implementer, SAFe Agilist, and Scrum Master, are also preferred.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to present and articulately explain technical information.
- Demonstrated ability to influence and consult (providing options with pros, cons, and risks) around all critical technical decisions during project delivery.
- Willingness to travel a minimum of 30%.
Ideally, you’ll also have
- Certifications like Archer Certified Associate, Archer Certified Administrator – Specialist
- Prior knowledge of Archer GRC workflows, applications, and configurations.
- Basic understanding of risk management, compliance frameworks (NIST, ISO, SOX, etc.), and security operations.
- Experience with SDLC, Agile Scrum, SAFe, and Kanban methodologies.

The base salary range for this job in all geographic locations in the US is $54,900 to $111,900. The salary range for New York City Metro Area, Washington State and California (excluding Sacramento) is $65,900 to $127,200. Individual salaries within those ranges are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, skills and geography.
