As an Experience Manager in the ASEAN team, you will design and lead immersive workshops that blend human-centred design, behavioural science, and AI-enabled methods to help our clients align, decide, and act faster. Experience Design
- Design and facilitate transformation experiences using business design, behavioral science, and gamification to create impactful wavespace experiences that translate business challenges into actionable outcomes.
- Understand client and EY business strategy contexts to translate strategy into experiences. Deliverables could be journeys, artefacts and decision frameworks that drive clear commitments and next steps.
- Manage the project team, including designers and service line teammates, providing direction and mentorship to ensure successful project execution.
- Oversee the financial aspects of projects, including budgeting and forecasting.
- Use AI to design and run sessions (e.g., research and synthesis, agenda/asset generation, live ideation, rapid scenario planning/prototyping, capture & summarisation) and bring AI-literate content into relevant experiences.
- Oversee the application of technology/ tools and creative elements to ensure experiences meet client expectations.
- Ensure quality assurance over experience delivery, set facilitation standards, methods and templates.
Client Engagement
- Serve as the primary interface with internal and external clients, taking accountability for planning, scoping, and delivering experiences across various industries.
- Partner with EY account teams on client pursuits and proposals, building a strong pipeline of demand for EY wavespace, linking experience outcomes to influenced revenue and pursuit strategies.
- Stakeholder management: engage senior sponsors, manage expectations and risks, and coach client teams to show up effectively (before, during, after sessions).
Innovation and Strategy
- Experiment with new approaches (AI, behavioral design) and contribute insights to the global wavespace community.
- Distill abstract dialogue into actionable recommendations and strategies partnering project teams
- Thought & practice development: spot emerging signals (tech, industry, ways of working), evolve our playbooks, and contribute re-usable assets, case stories and measurement approaches (e.g., outcomes, NPS, adoption).
Skills and attributes for success
- Mastery in facilitation and executive presence, confident in engaging senior audiences and complex, multi-stakeholder dynamics
- AI fluency: comfortable “dabbling” hands-on with modern AI tools/workflows, interactive technology and tools to enhance design and live facilitation
- Methods range: human-centred design (design thinking, service/system perspectives), strategy framing, decision facilitation, and outcome mapping.
- Behavioural design mindset: practical understanding of motivation, incentives, and team dynamics; ability to design activities that shift mindsets and decisions.
- Ability to quickly understand different client objectives and use creative problem-solving skills to translate objectives into engaging workshops
- Commercial acumen and business development mindset: skilled in positioning and storytelling.
- Strategic awareness: able to link wavespace engagements to client and industry agendas.
- Stakeholder management: strong influencing skills, clear storytelling, and diplomacy with C-suite and cross-functional teams. coaching skills
- Excellent written, verbal and visual communication skills.
- Knowledge of collaboration/prototyping tools (Miro, Mural, Figma, Lucid).

To qualify for the role you must have
- Bachelor's Degree with more than 8 years of experience in facilitation, consulting, innovation, business design or strategy.
- Proven track record of leading senior-level workshops and multi-stakeholder engagements.
- Proven record translating ambiguous business goals and user/stakeholder needs into structured workshops and tangible outcomes (e.g., decisions, roadmaps, prototypes).
- Cross-industry experience and ease in navigating multi-disciplinary teams, managing communications and interaction with a variety of different stakeholders
Bonus points if you have
- Experience in Behavioural design, AI-driven transformation or digital strategy initiatives.
- Practice building: codifying playbooks, measurement, and reusable assets.
- Exposure to start-ups/partners/ecosystems and building collaborative coalitions.
