Job Description

The Value team architect primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Aligns technology solutions with business strategies & outcomes and company Digital Strategy across Finance, DnA and IA domains

  • Lead the end-to-end development of systems, technology, Data & Technology & Intelligent Automation blueprints

  • Contributes to the development of the SAP Ecosystem including the move for S4, to drive value based solutions and support the finance business processes.

  • Drives architecture adoption that optimizes the Total cost of Ownership across the Value team portfolio balancing business outcomes, speed, flexibility and adherence to organizational standards. Connects the End to End business process to the underlying technology architecture

  • Runs the Architecture function as an Agile, value-centric, business outcome-oriented squad to guide decision making and to provide transparency in our Digital decision-making.

  • Drives the architecture function to maximize value and shared goals without becoming a bottleneck in the Product delivery functions.

  • Leads the Architecture community within the Value Team and partners with Enterprise Architecture and architects in other Value Teams.

  • Develops a documented business, solution, information and technical architecture for the Value Team with a focus on business outcome, Total Cost of Ownership and Value realization

  • Supports the Product Line Leads in developing their strategy around Digital solutions, Data & Analytics and Intelligent automation

  • Establishes strong working relationships with business and technology leaders in order to align investment planning, portfolio planning and delivery execution with defined roadmap and architecture choices.

  • Stays current with Industry technology trends across the Value Team Technology landscape, pilots New Innovation capabilities and introduces best practices to the Value Team

  • Creates and owns architecture deliverables and artifacts for Value Team and ensures that they are catalogued, up-to-date and easily accessible.

  • Applies risk-based and outcome-focused decision making to complex problems and consults with relevant internal and external subject matter experts to inform the decisions.

  • Prepares and delivers executive level briefings to Business and Technology leaders

  • Provides strategic consultancy support to clients, Senior technical resources in all aspects of enabling technology to meet business needs. Provides expertise on application architecture design or improvement in areas of SAP and non-SAP solutions.

  • Performs technical oversight of implementation projects to ensure alignment with architecture and technology standards

Required Education, Experience and Skills:

  • Bachelor's Degree required.

  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience, with demonstrated expertise in the various disciplines of Business, Solution, Information & Technology Architecture, including strong technical understanding of tools and architecture.

  • Excellent Interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to quickly establish credibility and trust with a variety of stakeholders.

Preferred Experience & Skills:

  • Demonstrated experience in architecting large-scale IT solutions using modern technologies.

  • Strong knowledge, expertise and implementation experience in SAP and Oracle suite of ERP products, various Data Technology capabilities including AWS, Data Governance, Data Analytics and Data Platforming technologies

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, quickly establishing credibility and trust with stakeholders.

  • Strong strategic acumen, analytical, innovative, proactive, and self-directed. Effective at navigating whitespace/greenfield opportunities.

  • Leadership and management skills, with proven abilities to set direction, lead, and motivate team members.

  • Experience in leading and managing teams, committees, or task forces. Ability to influence a wide variety of stakeholders.

  • Critical thinker who can embrace new ideas and technologies.

  • Strong leadership skills, effectively managing teams, driving change, and fostering collaboration.

  • Demonstrated entrepreneurial capabilities inside and outside of corporate environments.

  • Ability to demonstrate leadership behaviors in alignment with the our Comp leadership standards.

U.S. Hybrid Work Model

Effective September 5, 2023, employees in office-based positions in the U.S. will be working a Hybrid work consisting of three total days on-site per week, generally Tuesday, Wednesday and either Monday or Thursday, although the specific days may vary by site or organization, with Friday designated as a remote-working day, unless business critical tasks require an on-site presence. This Hybrid work model does not apply to, and daily in-person attendance is required for, field-based positions; facility-based, manufacturing-based, or research-based positions where the work to be performed is located at a Company site; positions covered by aagreement (unless the agreement provides for hybrid work); or any other position for which the Company has determined the job requirements cannot be reasonably met working remotely. Expected salary range:

$181,600.00 - $285,800.00
