The Risk Management (RM) Business Risk Office is seeking a highly motivated Risk Manager to apply their analytical, risk, communication, and project management skills to support Enterprise Risk Management (ERM). In this role, you will partner with executives and their teams to identify and monitor risks in an open, collaborative environment where new ideas and solutions are welcomed and rewarded. You will lead ERM through audit and regulatory engagements; facilitate periodic and change-driven risk assessments; and support issues and findings remediation. You will also be responsible for managing several horizontal Risk Office processes in alignment with the enterprise framework and related requirements. Key responsibilities:

  • Advise and consult with ERM to help develop and implement well-designed risk frameworks, processes, and supporting technologies to effectively mitigate risk

  • Manage internal audits and regulatory exams directed to and/or impacting ERM

  • Facilitate and lead risk assessments and related activities (Critical Business Process Identification, Process Level Assessments, Risk and Control Self-Assessments, Changed-Based Risk Assessments, etc), which include providing advice and challenge and driving influential outcomes

  • Manage, implement and deliver on key program deliverables and horizontal processes within assigned domain

  • Stay current on the changing regulatory environment impacting Enterprise Risk Management and leverage data and technology to proactively identify risks, trends and/or process improvements

  • Monitor issue remediation, tracking, and closure

  • Escalate and report critical issues and risks to the Risk Management Business Risk Office and ERM Leadership team

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree or military experience

  • At least 3 years of experience in Risk Management, Compliance or Audit

  • At least 3 years of experience supporting, partnering and interacting with internal business clients

  • At least 2 years of experience interacting with internal audit, federal regulators, or government agencies

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Masters Degree or MBA

  • 5+ years of experience in Risk Management, Compliance or Audit

  • 3+ years of process or Project Management or related experience leading cross functional projects and programs

  • Risk Management Certifications [Certified Risk Management Assurance (CRMA), Certified Risk Management Professional (CRMP), Certified Regulatory Compliance Manager (CRCM), Certified Financial Risk Manager (FRM)]
