Your key responsibilities
- Author and review of design specifications; develop, review and unit test code for single page web applications.
- Troubleshoot, isolate and remediate code bugs.
- Work on and manage mid-size projects, and ensure smooth service delivery on assigned products, engagements and/or geographies.
- Work with project managers to study resource needs and gaps and devise alternative ways forward.
- Provide expert reviews for all projects within the assigned subject.

- A UI Development Manager leads a team of UI developers, overseeing the design and implementation of user interfaces for web and mobile applications. They work closely with UX designers, graphic designers, and backend developers to create visually appealing, user-friendly, and efficient interfaces.
- Responsibilities include the creation of design prototypes and wireframes, ensuring the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs, and optimizing applications for maximum speed and scalability. They also play a pivotal role in validating user input, creating efficient mark-up and coding standards, and maintaining graphical standards and branding throughout the product's interface.
- Furthermore, a UI Development Manager often works with project managers and other stakeholders to effectively coordinate and direct UI development tasks and projects, ensuring project deadlines are met and aligning the UI design with the overall strategic objectives of the organization.

To qualify for the role, you must have
- 9-12 years of relevant work experience with a concentration in front end development and demonstrated history of UI/UX sensibilities
- Minimum of 7-8 years of modern web application development with tools such as ReactJS or AngularJS, client-side JavaScript experience, CSS experience
- Extensive knowledge and understanding of React.js and its core principles such as hooks, context, and React lifecycle events.
- Proficiency in JavaScript ES6+ and TypeScript with a strong understanding of functional programming.
- Extensive experience working with modern web development tools and technologies such as Node.js, npm, Babel, and Webpack.
- Deep knowledge of scalable state management techniques and technologies like Redux or MobX, and context API.
- Familiarity with newer specifications of ECMAScript.
- High proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript/JQuery for smooth integration with React.js.
- Knowledge of building Responsive web designs using CSS, Flexbox, and Grid layout.
- Good understanding of GraphQL and RESTful API integration, JSON and websockets, and other data communication protocols.
- Familiarity with automated JavaScript testing and testing libraries, particularly Jest and React Testing Library.
- Proficient in conducting code reviews, correcting code issues, debugging, and optimizing overall application performance.
- Strong experience in version control by using Git and various methodologies.
- Understanding of secure coding methods and practices.
- Good understanding of server-side rendering and its benefits and use cases.
- Understanding of the latest web development trends, including progressive web apps, and serverless architecture.
- Experience with Other Web Development Frameworks like Angular will be a plus.
- Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure or Google Cloud will be a plus.
- Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, or similar technologies would be an advantage.
- Experience with Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) process is important.
- Familiarity with design patterns, software design principles, and data modeling.
- Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills.
