Reporting to the
What a typical day looks like:
- Oversee the design and execution of Manufacturing Talent development strategies, ensuring they align with business objectives and foster continuous growth across the organization.
- Conducts classroom and On-the-Job Training for operators and technicians when the need arises.
- Leads training strategies to ensure all operators are certified based on process requirement in a timely manner.
- Leads and monitors certification and re-certification activities.
- Tracks and reports information by reviewing employee training records for current licenses, certificates, and renewals, maintaining records of mandatory training, maintaining up to date training files on all safety sensitive personnel, checking all files for up to date medical, and advising employees as needed for training purposes.
- Learn customer and product specific manufacturing requirements.
- Develop and maintain course materials, presentations and OJT checklists
- Earn IPC-A-610 Instructor Certification.
- Support successful compliance of global required trainings.
- Support internal and external audits. Including RBA, ISO as needed.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with universities and external partners (government and private), creating opportunities for collaboration and visibility.
- Partner with key stakeholders to connect learning initiatives with current and future talent needs of the organization.
- Support internal development processes by promoting learning programs and connecting employees with relevant growth opportunities.
- Lead and mentor a small team focused on training and development execution.
- Monitor and evaluate learning strategies, ensuring alignment with competencies and real business impact.
- Promote a culture of learning, highlighting internal success stories and enabling consistent development experiences across all levels.
The experience we’re looking to add to our team:
- Bachelor Degree or 5+ years of relevant work experience, including talent development and project management.
- Experience conducting On-the-Job-Training (OJT) and a strong background in electronics manufacturing (IPC-A-610 Certification).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint; excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Demonstrated problem-solving, analytical skills, and attention to detail in dynamic environments.
- Strong leadership experience managing small to mid-sized teams with a focus on collaborative initiatives.
- Self-starter with the ability to prioritize tasks, make independent decisions, and engage stakeholders effectively.
