Your key responsibilities
- Experience in the end-to-end implementation of the SAP S/4 Group Reporting solution.
- Support the S/4 Group Reporting Consolidation workstream from project initiation through to system go-live.
- Support design and requirements gathering workshops documentation of Group Reporting solutions.
- Collaborating with key business stakeholders to documenting business requirements and performing FIT-GAP analyses
- Perform system configuration, master data management, and unit testing of solutions, compliance with SAP best practices and client specifications.
- Testing solutions and supporting the defect break-fix cycle
- Support EY team in developing and enhancing internal assets and client demos to strengthen our SAP practice.
- Support EY leadership in creating sales materials and RFPs
- Foster internal mentor relationships within EY and support development of junior resources.
To qualify for the role you must have:
The candidate must possess a strong grasp of Group Reporting technical configuration, including, but not limited to:
- Over 3 years of hands-on end-to-end SAP Consolidation solution implementation experience (SAP Group Reporting, SAP BPC etc.)
- At minimum of 1 complete full project lifecycles in S/4HANA Group Reporting implementation.
- Basic understanding of the end-to-end consolidation process, including familiarity with SAP’s Best Practice content for Group Reporting, integration with S/4 Core Finance, and Reporting tool (SAC, AFO etc.) integrations.
Basic understanding of financial consolidation concepts and Group Reporting terminology, including:
- Consolidation Master Data in Group Reporting, e.g., Consolidation Versions, Financial Statement Items (FSIs), Consolidation Units, and Consolidation Groups etc.
- Data Monitor and Consolidation Monitor tasks, Reclassification Rules and Validation Rules, Data Collection Methods, Inter-Company Matching & Reconciliation (ICMR), Intercompany Eliminations etc.
- Knowledge of Investment Consolidation (both Rule-based and Activity-based), good grasp of concepts like Direct Share, Group Share, Goodwill, and Non-Controlling Interest.
- Knowledge of Consolidation Financial Reports, e.g. Cash Flow Statements using Reporting Items and Logic Setup.
