Ensure the provision of extensive HR support for the AP office in Hong Kong and other countries’ operations across the region, including China, Japan, Malaysia, Philippines, Russia, Thailand and Turkey
Assist managers and employees by providing guidance and administrative support for HR policies and programs to ensure consistent and timely handling of policies and procedures
Ensure all HR programs and activities in compliance with the relevant local employment laws and regulations
Assist in guiding leadership on performance management and developing effective pipeline and succession plans.
Develop and implement initiatives to foster a sense of camaraderie and teamwork within the organization, including organizing team-building activities, social events, and recognition programs.
Support and sponsor employee-led initiatives and activities that promote a positive work environment and employee satisfaction.
Act in accordance with the Information Security Policy, Information Management Policy and Privacy Policy
Skills & Experience (Person Specification)
10+ years of practical and progressive human resources experience including talent acquisition and HR operation support; experience providing HR support to clients in remote offices is preferred
Degree level education in relevant discipline
Relevant industry
Proficient in both spoken and written English, Cantonese, and Mandarin
Be a confident communicator capable of effectively presenting to individuals at all levels of the organization
Proactive, quality driver, resourceful, problem-solving aptitude, and a good team player
Analytical mind with a passion for helping employees and a strong attention to detail
Able to manage multiple HR projects and tasks effectively and work independently
Excellent communication skills, interpersonal skills, ethics, and cultural awareness
Willingness to work flexible hours as necessary
Able to pass a background check subject to local laws and legislation
Proficient IT skills in MS Office applications particularly Excel and PowerPoint and comfortable learning new technical systems as needed
