Job responsibilities
- Oversee a variety of resiliency work streams in support application recovery plans and testing, cyber recovery, and public cloud resiliency
- Manage projects to bring applications in compliance with new control and regulatory demands, partnering with application teams and Sub-Line of Business Resiliency Managers
- Support application recovery work such as site testing program and infrastructure uplift projects requiring a resiliency role
- Support cyber recovery work around controls for cyber recovery plans, backups, application repaves, and database restoration
- Support Public cloud resiliency work to strengthen controls for criticality-based architecture requirements and testing, including the use of fault injection as well as conventional testing
- Lead emerging work around new controls added to the governance portfolio of the Technology Resiliency Team
- Coordinate schedules and deliverables for Action Plans (APs) to address Control and Operational Risk Evaluation (CORE) Issues and for other risk action items
- Represent CCB to Firm wide Technology Resiliency (FTR) and other LOBs, presenting ideas for control and process improvements
- Provide metrics commentary and other materials for presentation to Managing Directors, including the Chief Information Officer, and brief these materials as needed.
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- 5+ years of experience or equivalent expertise troubleshooting, resolving, and maintaining information technology services
- Experience managing applications or infrastructure in a large-scale technology environment both on premises and public cloud
- Experience managing control breaks, remedies, issues, and action plans
- Experience in executive-level communication, in writing and in presentations
- Experience in coordinating policy and activities across Global Technology with a record of effective advocacy
- Experience executing on processes in scope of the Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) framework
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Working knowledge in one or more general purpose programming languages and/or automation scripting
- Practical experience with public cloud
- AWS Cloud Practitioner certification
