Our Program Management group is seeking a
Bronx, NY. Reporting to both the client and Senior Project Manager you’ll be working alongside other Project Managers and Superintendents on the Jacobs team, client staff/departments and vendors/contractors, regulatory, and general contractors. As a client facing role, your emphasis will be focused on:
- Overall project delivery (safety, cost, schedule, quality, information, contracts) on multiple project assignments.
- Manage budgets, schedules, scope development, and construction contracts, documents, procedures, and controls for assigned projects.
- Manage the review and approval process for consultant invoices and contractor pay applications and change orders.
- Attend weekly job progress meetings; issues meeting minutes.
- Resolve complex construction related issues, disputes, and disagreements.
Here's what you'll need
- Bachelor of Science in an Engineering discipline, Construction Management, Architecture
- Minimum 5 years of construction management experience with at least 2 years of that experience managing multiple small to medium U.S. healthcare project construction projects
- Experience working in an active hospital environment
- Strong working knowledge of pre-design and pre-construction, building systems/components and technology, contract management and project delivery methods
- OSHA 10 certification or the ability to obtain within 30 days of hire
- Willing and able to work onsite with the project team the client’s location Monday – Friday
Ideally, You’ll Also Have:
- Certified Healthcare Constructor and Infection Control (ASHE)
- Certified Construction Manager (CCM)
