Key Responsibilities

We are looking for a strong TEM Technician who has passion to learn TEM in our group. In this role, the individual will be responsible for:

• Obtaining Bright Field, High resolution, diffraction patterns, and HAADF STEM images of different samples
• Organizing data, prepare and deliver summary reports to BU engineers
• Working with customers and team members to optimize experiments and explain results.

Qualifications:

• Experience on TEM tool operation.
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Outstanding oral and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work in a positive way with peers and customers at all levels
• Flexible work hour/day
• Operate transmission electron microscope (TEM) to obtain high quality images pending on jobassignment, identifyall of patterns of interest, understand image quality requirement and sample/beam interaction to determine optimized condition.

Prepares graphs and tables summarizing results.

• Understand basic transmission electron microscope (TEM)principle.

Responsible for all technology products.

• Perform basic TEM system alignment functions. Perform routine maintenance procedures (fill LN et cl).
• Interface with requestors, understand their detail requirement, and communicate on results.
• Perform routine shut down procedure. Identify tool problems, put tool down and call for service.
• Assists in training lower level technicians.
• Develop and publish best known method (BKM) procedures including, sample prep, TEM operation manual, workflow and special sample handling.

• Has developed advanced specialized expertise within aanalytical/scientificarea to perform the most complex work

• Has a good understanding of how related teams coordinate their efforts and resources to achieve objectives
