Job Description
The Associate Director, HPV Vaccines Global Market Access & Pricing, is responsible for supporting the development and execution of the HPV global plan for access.
This Associate Director analyzes and communicates payer landscape, competition, and other external dynamics to drive optimal access choices and inform positions related to coverage, value, and affordability.
Main Responsibilities:
Create and realize value, access, and affordability objectives for the HPV franchise
Synthesize and communicate payer customer insights to inform current and future access strategy outlining reimbursement & pricing landscape, opportunities, and risks to access and reimbursement. This includes conducting payer market research and analysis of payer landscape and competition.
Create and define appropriate use of global market access resources with regions and countries. Partner with external agencies and vendors as needed and ensure approvals and budget allocation as required.
Partner with value & implementation colleagues in the development of real-world evidence and economic models and/or studies to ensure Value and Implementation activities are aligned with the global plan for access.
Coordinate with Global Cross Functional Team members including Commercial, Value & Implementation, and Policy to develop product value messages and negotiation strategies to aid Global, Regional, Country planning.
Support and lead the planning and execution of Market Access meetings and country workshops to understand access evidence needs and identify the appropriate resources to address those gaps.
Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree required.
MBA or advanced degree preferred.
Experience in one or more of these areas: market access,pricing/reimbursement,health policy and/or health economics, sales, and marketing (or equivalent roles), market research.
Demonstrated strategic thinking and problem-solving skills.
Expertise successfully guiding cross functional matrix teams.
Demonstrated ability to understand, develop and communicate scientific based strategies and messages.
Strong verbal and written communications skills.
Strong project management and operational skills.
Preferred Experience or Skills:
3 years of experience in one or more of these areas: market access,pricing/reimbursement,health policy and/or health economics, sales, and marketing (or equivalent roles), market research.
Demonstrated strategic thinking and problem-solving skills.
Strong business acumen.
Success in ambiguous and challenging situations.
Self-motivated; hands-on approach to work.
Bias towards speed and agility.

U.S. Hybrid Work Model
Effective September 5, 2023, employees in office-based positions in the U.S. will be working a Hybrid work consisting of three total days on-site per week, generally Tuesday, Wednesday and either Monday or Thursday, although the specific days may vary by site or organization, with Friday designated as a remote-working day, unless business critical tasks require an on-site presence. Expected salary range:
$135,500.00 - $213,400.00
