Job Description:
ou can make an impact by providing insight into business performance and financial results through timely analysis of trends, KPIs working closely with business partners, analytics, and accounting.
Own financial reporting and tracking of overall Consumer BU outlook vs targets by bringing summary of variances and key drivers.
Manage key FP&A processes, including budgeting, forecasting, R&Os, monthly close, performance reporting, and others.
Review and communicate performance against defined targets. Regularly perform variance and sensitivity analyses on (weekly/monthly) revenue performance for Consumer BU.
Provide consolidated financial tracking, analysis, commentary and documents to the CFO, VP FP&A, and other key BU stakeholders to support key deliverables, working in close partnership with various FP&A and other Finance teams.
Drive conversations with cross functional partners, namely the finance POCs supporting the various Consumer BU products across P2P, Venmo, Shopping/Rewards as well as intersections with SMB and Enterprise segments.
Set parameters for consolidation and collaborate with business unit finance leads to consolidate financials for reporting, budgeting and analysis.
Develop, optimize, and standardize FP&A processes, including coordination of automation opportunities and sharing of best practices.
Support and drive the planning of investment decisioning.
Synthesize and communicate the financial narrative for Consumer in executive and BOD
Lead and continue to grow high performing team
Understand what matters most and prioritize ruthlessly.
Demonstrate exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal – whether in PowerPoint or an elevator pitch, you need to translate complex concepts into layman’s terms and influence both peers and senior leadership.
Develop a deep understanding of consumer business Identify key business levers, establish cause & effect, perform analyses and communicate key findings to various stakeholders up-and-down the organization to facilitate data-driven decision-making
10+ years of professional related experience preferably in Fintech or payments processing businesses.
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent required; MBA/Master’s degree or higher in a quantitative field a bonus
Advanced Proficiency with MS Office specifically with Excel and PowerPoint
PayPal is in a dynamic, rapidly changing industry. A proven track record at similarly fluid medium/large-size technology, e-commerce or financial institutions would be a plus.

Demonstrated experience in reporting and budget processes in matrixed environments.
Communication skills: experience distilling complex financial analyses and preparing powerful presentations with a crisp and clear storyline.
High energy and a true desire to understand the drivers of the business.
World-class analytical skills to help glean and communicate simple to understand insights from complex data sets
