Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate, enhance and implement best -in-class AML Compliance policies and practices.
  • Provide expert advice on AML Compliance policies to the AML/Financial Crime Support teams and the business.
  • Perform AML Compliance quality and testing, evaluate process deficiencies, analyze control measures, enhance reporting capabilities and recommend corrective actions while satisfying regulatory and audit commitments. Further, assess and identify emerging risks and recommend / drive program enhancements.
  • Evaluate and respond to escalated matters; further escalate unusual activity as needed. Advise senior management on next steps.
  • Create, develop and deliver relevant training to business and functional partners.
  • Additional duties as assigned.
  • Has the ability to operate with a limited level of direct supervision.
  • Can exercise independence of judgement and autonomy.
  • Acts as SME to senior stakeholders and /or other team members.
  • Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.

Qualifications:

  • 5-10 years relevant experience
  • AML Certification
  • Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication skills
  • Self-motivated and detail oriented
  • Advanced analytical skills Ability to both work independently and collaborate with team members
  • Proficient in Excel and Word – ability to learn multiple system applications quickly

Education:

  • Bachelor's/University degree, Master's degree preferred

Provide standard project management discipline for CRIU Program Solution related projects, addressing key CRIU initiatives and programs. This role involves working closely with the Regional CRIU Leads to deliver projects and support the communication to internal stakeholders and external parties. The Program Lead will be responsible for managing projects on a day to day basis, consistent and timely reporting of the tasks execution as well as appropriate escalation of issues and risks.

Essential Responsibilities include:

  • Practice established project management protocols including the development of project plans/timelines, facilitation of project meetings, ensuring project documentation is complete, consistent and of high quality, tracking the execution of tasks against the plans, etc.
  • Develop/support the written/verbal communication regarding identified risks; track issues and solutions and report them in a timely manner.
  • Prepare status reports for senior management– according to managed portfolio of projects.
  • Participate in the planning of CRIU activities.
  • Exercise complete oversight over the execution of CRIU technology projects, from definition and planning, through execution and closure.
  • Act as a liaison with internal partners and customers to facilitate execution of AML Tech BOW and other initiatives;
  • Support creation of AML Investigations Tech BOW.
  • Constantly monitor, proactively manage and report on progress, risks, issues, assumptions, dependencies and solutions of the project portfolio to all stakeholders.
  • Conduct and present project evaluations and assessment of results.
  • Work with the oversight committees to prioritize all initiatives.
  • Demonstrated ability to present to Senior SLT and navigate high intensity interactions with ease
