Responsibilities
  • Evaluate, negotiate, and close key licensing deals across casual and mid-core mobile game content that will help grow the footprint of Netflix Gaming with creators and developers of all sizes.
  • Demonstrate fluency in the most complex legal and business issues in contracts and develop creative win-win solutions with our partners.
  • Analyze markets and synthesize recommendations into actionable sourcing plans.
  • Collaborate with our Transmedia team to help expand Netflix’s ever-growing IP catalog in the digital gaming space via key strategic mobile partnerships with top global gaming companies.
  • Be agile and execute across a quickly evolving range of products.
  • Collaborate with a broad range of internal constituents to help define go-to-market strategies and drive sign-off from internal leadership.
Qualifications
  • Strong experience sourcing in a gaming environment with a demonstrated track record of helping drive a broad range of mobile-focused game partnership deals.
  • High-level expertise in negotiation and deal construction including the legal aspects of negotiations.
  • Knowledge of current and developing industry trends in the mobile market, awareness of competitors, and new business opportunities.
  • Exceptional analytical abilities with a deep knowledge of live services and F2P gaming business models (experience working at game subscription services preferred).
  • Experience learning quickly about new technologies and distilling information into actionable insights for internal stakeholders.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and an ability to effectively build relationships with internal and external partners.
  • Experience successfully navigating a fast-paced, highly ambiguous environment.
Our compensation structure consists solely of an annual salary; we do not have bonuses. You choose each year how much of your compensation you want in salary versus stock options. To determine your personal top of market compensation, we rely on market indicators and consider your specific job family, background, skills, and experience to determine your compensation in the market range. The range for this role is $160,000 - $610,000.
