*This position is a fixed term contract for an employee going on maternity leave*
This position directs the Accounting function for the assigned department(s) and is responsible for the following:
- Prepare invoice booking information
- Process manual payments and coordinate electronic payment batches
- Vendor set up. Provide the company with the vendors information to set up and update in the system
- Prepare information to fulfill all the legal requisitions to process foreign payments.
- Provide to the accounting firm all the tax information to prepare monthly, annual returns. (VAT, Sales Tax, Income Tax, Payroll Tax, Withholdings tax, Global Pricing to control this returns. International custom duties tax
- Coordinate statutory accounting information and the annual statutory reports audit.
- Accrual of invoices received after AP close, Revaluation adjustment ARS and USD, CC
- Reclass , expense adjustments, SSI reverse and deferral, Management Fee US,
- Royalties Entry done by Corp
- Ensuring complete compliance with internal control requirements and improving controls where necessary, and evaluating processes for continuous improvements and influencing change where needed.
- Prepare Cash flow reports to treasury,
- Return performance bonds instruments to insurance company when expiration terms ends, complete surveys with different public statistics offices, assist with global procurement tasks to the employees
- Bring financial and analytical expertise to the day-to-day management of the business
- Seals tax affidavit, payment (VEP) and Debit Memo or Credit Memo issue if necessary
- IT2 fund assignments (every week reconciliation)
- Royalties calculation
- Monthly / Quarterly Accounting close
- Monthly / Quarterly Accounting reconciliation process
- National and International Invoicing
Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree in accounting or equivalent financial degree required.
- Minimum 3+ years direct Experience in Accounting based role.
