What You Will Do
As Director of Engineering for the B2B Integrations team, you will be managing a team of 20+ engineers over time. The role entails the following responsibilities:
Technically lead and mentor a high-performance engineering team, engineering managers and provide strategic direction and guidance to ensure delivery of high-quality products
Build and manage relations with the business partners and understand their business requirements. Closely work with the Product Management, Architects, and cross-functional teams
Work with stakeholders to define the future roadmap of the products, adopt latest technology innovation wherever necessary
Build tools and automation to prevent re-occurrence of problems to mission-critical products and services and engender reliability and availability, starting with metrics and measurements
Define engineering practices, product development patterns and drive products development to scale to Walmart requirements.
Follow agile methodologies and program practices in product development lifecycle and focus on team productivity improvements using right tools and processes.
Hire talent, mentor and grow the team.
Proactively monitor, identify and resolve supply chain issues.
What You Will Bring
Strong engineering leadership expertise in medium to large size company.
Proven experience in hiring and mentoring world-class engineering teams.
Leading largescale systems in fast-paced environments,
Expertise in full stack technologies (Java, Node.js, React, NoSQL/SQL etc.)
Experience in one or more public cloud technologies like GCP, Azure, etc.
Experience in working in large teams using CI/CD and agile methodologies.
Providing thought leadership and defining technology strategies
Being an admired subject matter expert in one or multiple technology areas
Directing and reviewing architectural artifacts (for example, proof of concepts, prototypes, architectural design) and providing valuable recommendations for improvements
Advising or conducting POCs to vet out new technologies
Driving for Architecture, Engineering, and Technology excellence
Big-picture and strategic thinking
Prioritizing, focusing, and delivering tangible results
Delivering with agility, urgency, and quality
Building trust and credibility quickly with Sr. Leadership and stakeholders
Being a self-starter, with a positive and Can-Do Spirit

The annual salary range for this position is $130,000.00-$260,000.00 Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include: - Stock Minimum Qualifications...These jobs might be a good fit
