Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in relevant field
  • Strong critical thinking skills, problem-solvingskillsand the ability to relate them to the products or services the company is producing
  • Knowledge and deep understanding of Windows operating system
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for multiple audiences including customers and the press
  • A combination of creative abilities and business knowledge

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Familiarity withof one or more programming languages
  • Familiarity with data analytics techniques and tools
  • Ability to creatively engage with consumers through social media ensuring maximum reach and impact
  • Passion for Windows applications and technology, and their potential to inspire new generations of fans
  • Ability to empathize with customers with a curiosity totruly understandtheir needs. Should be able to interpret customer insights/data and translate it into actionable business results.
  • Be self-sufficient, organized, and pay attention to details to successfully manage multiple deadlines with effective follow-through on all initiatives
Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

  • Actively “listen" to Windows community through multiple channels (including Feedback Hub, social media communities, and selfhosting community) on a daily/weekly basis.
  • Stay on top and understand in depth changes implemented for multiple product features
  • Develop, implement and project manage Feedback Hub and social media activity across social channels. Coordinate with all relevant internal and external stakeholders to ensure program effectiveness. Obsess over customers and how they engage across different platforms.
  • Work with engineers and other content providers to produce and secure all contentrequiredfor feedback communication and social media campaigns, including video, articles, message posts, etc.
  • Activelyparticipatewith users online, manage day-to-day activities in social networking sites including Facebook, YouTube, Instagram, Twitter and other emerging social channels and community sites,postingand seeding content as needed.
  • Be a passionate advocate for our followers ensuring we give them the most relevant, engaging and “worth their while” content via our channels.
  • Track and report feedback and social media metrics and sentiment against goals, be agile to changing social media landscape, and align the content strategy and engagement tactics accordingly.
  • Monitor trends in social,digitaland mobile media and exploring new tools, trends and applications that could positivelyimpactour business
