As a data scientist in the consumer portfolio analytics team, you will be responsible for monitoring the health of the portfolio across key engagement & profitability metrics. You will get exposure to solving complex problems in big data environment and creating EDA & RCA frameworks to provide meaningful insights to cross functional business teams including product & marketing.

Day to day activities include analyzing consumer portfolio performance and health by:

  • Challenging the status quo, and driving data backed decision making
  • Identifying key metrics, conducting rigorous explorative data analysis, creating executive facing reports and presentations
  • Synthesizing large volumes of data with attention to granular details and presenting findings and recommendations to senior-level stakeholders
  • Collaborating effectively with cross functional stakeholders from product, marketing, finance, data engineering & other analytics teams
  • Supporting multiple projects at the same time in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment
  • Working independently on complex business problems

What do you need to bring:

  • At least 5 years of experience analyzing large, multi-dimensional data sets and synthesizing insights into actionable solutions
  • B.S. in a quantitative field, advanced degrees preferred
  • Fluent in SQL; at least one scripting language such as Python or R; basic statistics; and comfortable working with large, complex, and potentially messy datasets
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, to influence cross-functional teams
  • A passion for problem-solving and comfort with ambiguity
