Minimum Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in cloud infrastructure engineering, with a strong focus on GCP and AWS.
- 3+ years designing, building, and maintaining complex cloud infrastructure solutions.
- 2+ years of experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
- Associates’s degree in a related field.
Preferred Qualifications
- Lead the architecture design and implementation of cloud-based projects using GCP and AWS, with a preference for experience in post-production environments.
- Design, build, and maintain complex cloud infrastructure solutions, ensuring high availability, security, and scalability.
- Collaborate closely with production clients, internal business units, and executive stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver effective solutions.
- Utilize infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, and Deployment Manager to automate provisioning and deployment processes.
- Implement and manage containerization technologies including Docker and Kubernetes to support microservices architecture.
- Ensure network configurations and troubleshooting of network services are performed effectively, maintaining optimal performance and reliability.
- Implement security best practices and utilize security tools such as IAM, Security Groups, and VPCs to secure cloud environments.
- Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in cloud technologies to drive innovation and efficiency within the organization.
- Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, and Deployment Manager.
- Strong understanding of networking concepts and experience with configuring and troubleshooting network services.
- Familiarity with security best practices and experience with security tools such as IAM, Security Groups, and VPCs.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with technical teams and executive stakeholders.
Pay & Benefits
- At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $107,100 and $178,600, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.Note: Apple benefit, compensation and employee stock programs are subject to eligibility requirements and other terms of the applicable plan or program.
