About The Role:

As the Head of Consumer Growth, you will serve as a senior leader for demand generation in one of Asia Pacific’s fastest-growing markets for Uber Eats. With highly cross-functional responsibilities that span across teams, verticals and geographies, you will define the country’s core consumer strategy and manage large, dynamic budgets to support Uber Eats’ global growth ambitions.

What You’ll Do:

  • Lead a high performance team of growth operators and work with senior leaders to execute our consumer growth strategy across food, grocery and retail businesses through key projects including but not limited to growth experiments, marketing campaigns, product rollouts and more.
  • Manage investment allocation across the entire lifecycle of Uber Eats consumers in Sri Lanka and continuously refine tailormade growth strategies across user segments, channels and multiple geographies.
  • Oversee the evolution of Uber One in Sri Lanka, working closely with key local and regional stakeholders to continuously strengthen the value proposition of the membership programme via dedicated incentives, products and experiences.
  • Own the consumer brand strategy for Sri Lanka using globally-consistent messaging and a locally-relevant calendar of offers and incentives designed to drive incremental growth on the platform.
  • Influence senior leadership at a local and regional level on strategic investment and resourcing decisions to continuously support the performance and growth of Sri Lanka’s consumer strategy.

What You’ll Need:

  • 8+ years experience in consulting, e-commerce, marketing, operations or other rapidly changing environments.
  • Fluency in English and Sinhalese and/or Tamil is mandatory.
  • Proficiency in Google Docs, Sheets and Slides for creating professional presentations and data-driven reports to regional and global audiences. SQL proficiency will be an added advantage.
  • Strong financial acumen and data-driven decision-making skills with the ability to build bottom up forecasting models and dissect P&Ls to understand growth/ profitability levers, and effectively communicate quantitative analyses.
  • Excellent written communication, critical thinking, senior stakeholder management and problem solving skills, with the ability to break down complex problems, anticipate challenges, and develop actionable solutions with clear outcomes.
  • Attention to detail and capability to work on multiple projects in parallel without compromising the quality of deliverables.
