As a Presales Engineer, you will be responsible for supporting, strengthening, and professionalizing the Presales & Project Sales in Singapore. You will play a crucial role in enhancing business development, with a focus on our VRF solutions (DVM).
Role and Responsibilities
- Improve and enhance the results of the System Air-Condition department:VRF solutions(DVM) & Commercial Air-Conditioning (CAC).
- Develop new business ideas and models to support the company’s growth.
- Focus on close collaboration with the local Sales team.
- Follow up of the figures and targets (project pipeline, success ratio).
- Assist the team with operational tasks, such as analysing market situation and developing strategies to address specific needs.
- Operational Excellence and KPI management.
- Organisation of conference for knowledge sharing internally and externally.
- Assist in sales training to improve the sales team's understanding of product features and benefits.
- Collaborate with the sales team to understand customer needs and provide technical expertise, Sales Materials/Tools and designs to support sales efforts.
- Have a good understanding of government regulations, such as NEA MELS & BCA Green Mark certification and help design systems that meet requirements.

- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, regulations, and competitor products.
Skills and Qualifications
- A minimum of a bachelor’s degree in engineering or related discipline; degree in air conditioning or refrigeration preferred
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in sales/presales role within a technical/mechanical building engineering environment (network) with preferably HVAC knowledge
- Strong understanding of air conditioning systems, including design, installation, and maintenance
- Someone with a passion for engineering, and is used to consultative selling, knows what is important, and is technically achievable to create an ideal situation for the customer
- Someone who is used to working within complex matrix and international environments
- Has a strong network in the mechanical building branch and their clients in Asia
- Someone who has a vision of thebuilding/installation/HVACmarket, is used to looking ahead
- An organized, effective and positive person who has proven experience in working independently and within multicultural teams
- Excellent communication skills are a necessity for this position.
- As a person he/she must be empathetic, persuasive, a real go-getter, confident, creative, and a strong representative of the presales and business development team within the internal organization, and also towards the external contact persons;
